Silchrome Plating have invested heavily over the last four years allowing us to meet the high standards expected by our customers. Our focus is always to fast lead times, excellent service and high quality plating. We understand that as a company every member of our team needs to be involved in driving the business forward. As such we have rolled out a number of company wide training programmes.

ISO: Silchrome are proud to be both 9001 and 14001 certified. ISO quality management is considered the stamp of approval across the manufacturing industry and Silchrome have ensured that every member of our staff has had full training. By ensuring strict process controls are in place throughout our operation, we can ensure consistency of our plating for multiple batches.

Institute of Materials Finishing: Silchrome have been established for well over 60 years, but that doesn’t mean there aren't new things to learn! Our staff regularly receive training from the Institute of Materials Finishing in best practices for our plating.

Continuous Improvement: Also known as Kaizen, Continuous Improvement is a process that aims to streamline production time and reduce waste. It also aims to improve the day to day running of any business and make production more flexible. Our Team have undergone training and we have rolled out a number of new practices since. This has made us more efficient as a company and in turn has helped us meet lead times for our customers.

X-Ray Training: Another practical way Silchrome have improved is through X-ray training.Using our in house facilities, our team members are able to verify the density and finish of your coating, and having more staff training in this also means we avoid delays in getting you your parts.

Silchrome Plating have invested over half a million pounds in the last 4 years in upgrading our facilities, adding new processes and in the training of staff.
