Introduction
Iridite™ NCP was developed because of ELV, RoHS and WEEE directives to provide an alternative to chromate conversion coatings on aluminium.Iridite™ NCP is free of cadmium, chromium (both III &VI valency states), lead, mercury and PBB/PBDE compounds.
Typical Applications:
- As a stand alone finish offering good corrosion protection and a visually pleasing appearance.
- As an undercoat before paint or powder applications.
- As a base for rubber bonding.
